This (rubber and about an inch in diameter) fell off while i was washing my bike today, and I'm unable to determine where it's from.

Can anyone please provide me with some insight as to what this is and where it goes?

Nope, it's still intact. this is a bit softer than the centerstand bumper pad.

The Givi Crash bars have them in the allen heads. They are just covers.
I think they come in the handlebar clamps from the factory. Again, just covers ......

It's too big for a hex socket cover. Maybe #28. It's on the front cylinder just above the head gasket.
