So for a while now i've been fighting with a leaky fork seal on the left side. I've replaced the seal twice now and and within a few weeks they begin to leak again. I checked the fork tube and the inside of the fork leg and they are both scarred up pretty good ( probably due to a previous time I'd changed the fork seals after I'd had too much to drink and had gotten over zealous with a screw driver). anyway I found a fork from a 2011 bike and am wondering if I can just swap the fork leg, or the entire fork out. The spring rate isn't important since I run 1.0's anyway.

The 2011 fork leg has a different part number. It is probably due to being from an ABS bike which will have different brake line hangers.

hmm, Guess I'll have to wait until I run into a pre abs model.
