Hi team,
If you've seen my other post, my girlfriend and I are about to undertake a South America adventure on our DL650 and as part of the testing we took it out into the pouring rain on Sunday to test our gear and the bike.
Both performed very well with no problems, arrived home and parked it in the garage, bike running fine.
On Tuesday night, I did some basic maintenance, practised replacing brake and clutch levers and when I then tried to start it but it wouldn't start. Battery seems fine, all lights on strong, makes all the right noises when I switch on the kill switch, put the clutch in and then when I hit the starter nothing happens. Lights fade a bit but no start, no winding over, nothing.
I'm going to try solve the problem tonight, I'm hopeful its just the automatic cutout on the side stand stuck or something similar.
Has anyone had a similar problem, any ideas what it might be, since we going to be doing a lot of traveling on the bike it's important this doesn't happen often!
Cheers
