I've got the tank off and installed the extended lines for the TBS. When I was putting on the jumper for the dealer mode all I got is the Check light on the dash. And the bike won't start?
Getting nervous. Is it possible something is unplugged from removing the bodywork and fuel tank? Is there a step I'm missing?

Any ideas?

I should mention the first time I put a jumper on the dealer mode plug I had it on the black and white and the orange and white instead of red and white.

A CHEC normally means the kill switch is off or the side stand switch is in the wrong position with the bike in gear.

They all seem good. I'm putting the tank and airbox back on now to see if any of the connectors I unhooked have anything to do with it.
Thanks.

A B/W to O/W is a dead short. Check the fuses. You connected the hot wire for the coils to ground.

I went back online to let you know I found a blown 10 amp fuse and saw your posting. As I see so many times on this forum you're absolutely spot on.
Thank you. I've got a week long trip planned in two days and was very concerned I had shorted something more major. I could have taken my ST on the trip but have been outfitting the DL.

Maybe I'll postpone installing the Power Commander and attempting the TPS and TBS until I get back.

Thanks again.
