I was thinking in trimming the fender up front a bit shorter and slimmer, and down back side as well. Has anybody done that before, any pictures, or how do I cut?
First is the look. The whole front will look lighter. It so looks like a cruiser's fender. The back side though, I'd like to trim for safety... Here is the story...For what purpose? is there an issue with the fender the way it is?
I did, later that evening. I removed the stand offs. But I'm still concerned that the forks make the wheel travel into that spot. It later looked something like this...Maybe you should try mounting the skid plate on the back side of the plate bolted to the crash bars.
I was thinking about it, but as I heard it does not accommodate fork brace... I like the look of the previously posted trimmed fenderYou might want to check out the Touratech fender rather then go though the bother of cutting and grinding the stock fender here is the link.
