Hi guys,

After a straight week of reading up on TBS, I found today that the K7 year requires a different process (SDS tool or using paper clips to try and fool the bike into dealer mode and adjust using air screws??)

Since this is such a large Issue (esp with CA or US models), would it be possible to have issues on the forum listed by model year or pre 07 and 07 and up, etc.

It sure would help those of us who are mechanically challenged but willing to learn.

Ps. anyone in the Santa Clarita, CA area willing to help with a TBS/TPS job? Called a few local shops and found there is a mechanic at the Suzuki dealership that may be able to work with this issue (at least 1 1/2 if labour charge).

Idle set at 900, so going to adjust up when bike out of body shop (yea...,), stalls when clutch disengaged and decelerating to a stop (very annoying to restart multiple times on the road). But also get the pops when engine hot and engine braking - Likely popped off the TB as also feels less torquey now. Anyway, have a friend VERY adept but not as familiar with the VEE set up. Pix help for homemade fix.

The K7 and up change is only for the DL650. The process is unchanged in the DL1000, just the same as earlier years.
