I started with the plan on using the designed spots on my SW Motech tank bag to electrify it and quickly realized there was an easier and probably safer way.

With a few cheap supplies I added a cigarette lighter to the inside of my bag.

AC adapter 90 degree male plug 4.00
AC female socket 2.00
Insulated wire 0.30/ft - I got 20 feet, it's great to have around
Stainless rivets 3.00 a pack
Rivet washers for the inside of the bag for strength 2.00
Small piece of stainless steel - had some laying around from other projects, it's cheap if you buy a scrap piece at a metal shop
Aluminum from a street sign - free :wink2:
Heat shrink tube 6.00

I used a coat hanger heated up red hot to melt holes in the front of the bag. I then riveted the stainless plate to the bag and screwed the female AC socket in. The hardest part was drilling the stainless plate, use good drill bits, some oil to help them cut and take it slow.

I used the existing bag divider and traced a shape on the street sign and cut it with a jig saw and trimmed as nessecary for a good fit. Then I added some Velcro to secure it inside. I drilled a lighter socket hole and connected the socket inside.

I soldered the male end to the wire and connected them to a spot in my aux fuse panel and all done.

I'm not sure how to post multiple pics in one post so here's the inside of the bag. Will update with how it holds up
