Did I get OEM OR a Knock-Off??

I ordered a centerstand for my 2022 650XT off Amazon. It was advertised as OEM with the correct Suzuki part # 42100-06871. When I opened the box, there were 3 plastic bags- one contained the actual stand, one with a couple brackets, and one with hardware- springs, bolts, ect. There was also laying loose- installation instructions appearing to be authentic. I don't remember getting OEM parts packaged this way. How do I know this is genuine Suzuki? Should there be Suzuki stamped somewhere on the stand? The seller on Amazon was a motorcycle dealer in Ohio. The stand seems well made, but if I paid for OEM, I want OEM. This stand was about $50 cheaper than getting it directly from Suzuki plus I had free shipping. For those of you who bought this stand, how was yours packaged? Was Suzuki printed on any of the parts, or the bags that held the parts??

It wouldn't surprise me if dealers had some on hand in the category of dealer installed options as opposed to retail accessories. As such, I wouldn't necessarily expect retail packaging. Maybe old stock.

At first glance, the box the stand was shipped in had nothing indicating it was a Suzuki part. Upon closer inspection, I did find a small Suzuki label with the appropriate part number on the box. So, I feel much better now. Thanks guys.
I bought an OEM stand from Suzuki. It came plain and unadorned just as you described yours. Mine came from Suzuki west (California). If, during your install, everything fits and goes together perfectly, then you probably have an OEM product. In fact, you will be wondering why they didn;t just put it on during the bike build and charge extra for it (they certainly did charge extra, but kept the stand in the box).
I am convinced that the centerstand was never intended as an "add-on accessory", but rather as part of the bike build that, through the years, Suzuki just decided to leave off and have you pay extra for. They may have started the trend or were following the example of other bike manufacturers.
I agree, this bike should have came with a centerstand mostly because it is chain driven. How can you properly clean, Lube, and adjust the chain without the rear tire being off the ground so you may rotate the wheel? This is my first chain driven bike since the mid-1970s. I am not use to having to do chain maintenance. I have purchased a chain cleaning brush and Lube. After a few hundred more miles it will time to adjust chain tension. That's OK, I enjoy tinkering on my bikes.
Same deal for my OE stand. The bike is built with the brackets on the frame, so obviously was at some point intended to have it.
OT, but would you happen to be the same Adirondack Bill from the VRCC forum? The user name looked familiar.
Yes, prior to my current 2021 Gold Wing and of course my 650XT, I did own a 2014 Valkyrie and was a member of that forum. I have installed the center stand, and just as everyone else indicated, putting on the springs was the biggest challenge. One spring is bad enough, but two? I used a small winch along with the trick of stretching the spring and putting coins in between the coils of the spring to keep the spring elongated while you hook it in place. Did the big spring first, then the smaller second one.

I've been using the Tirox Snapjack V2 for years. Take it on long trips to clean/lube chain. Super easy to use. When I'm home I have a service stand for wheel removal. Having a Center Stand is great. I can't use one on my VStrom because I have a Yoshimura full exhaust system. Plus I don't need to add that extra weight.

Tirox also sells a "Trail" model in case you need to remove a wheel for tire repair. These come in handy if you must lift the front of the bike too.
