I have elected to install the DFO vice the Power Commander as I only need a small amount of fuel increased on the bottom end because of installing Scorpion Pipes. I hope and believe this will take care of the hiccup on partial throttle below 4000 rpm. This requires no mapping or dyno tuning and is rather simplistic in nature. It does require splicing into the ECU/ECM wire loom and two other wires for ground and power from the tail light.

Has anyone else installed a DFO yet that can recommend the procedure approach or am I the first contrarian to avail myself of a cheaper EFI fix than the problematic Mapping of the PCIII ?
Don't get me wrong I loved my Power Commander on my HD, but the DFO seemed simpler and cheaper in kind.

Whatever the outcome I will report post haste.
