trouble this is the best route nearest des moines. nice little afternoon ride, but you're pretty much driving in circles...

winterset to norwalk and back shenanigans

If you take hwy 5 SE out of des monies towards knoxville and get into the southern part of the state the roads get much better in a hurry. But riding right around des moines on roads with nice turns and elevation changes is tough.

Followed a White Glee this afternoon

Followed a white glee from Story City to Roland, IA on the county roads this afternoon (I was in a truck) about 4:30 pm this afternoon. I had to turn off, but the Glee continued south out of Roland on R77. Was it any of you?
