I guess you've only got a little bit left on that tire?

Say 100,000 t0 125,000 miles or so?

I'm starting to think maybe another 10k at most

a few weeks ago with 10k, there was still 9-10mm tread depth left, now there is only 6-7mm left, I hope its good for winter
Really?

It must be an optical illusion, but it looks like there's a lot of tread there.

Must be a pretty soft compound.

So you recon it's good for about 20,000 miles overall?

I'm curious how the worn tire will work this winter.

my camera was in close up mode about 2" away from the tire, yes, good winter car tires are very soft and they don't turn into hockey pucks when its 25 below.

I feel ok with the tread I have now, but he rate of wear recently that may change by the time snow falls, I got my yard work done and firewood ready for winter so more free time to tear up the roads

That's looks like a mighty good tire pattern (new-sipping). What pressure are you running? :beatnik:

That's pretty darn good wear for how hard you seem to ride it on gravel. I still haven't noticed any amount of wear on my Exclaim UHP, but I'm only at 2,000 miles so far.

Now if you really wanted to earn your cheap merit badge you could demount it and reverse it.

Is the leading thin edge on the brake or acceleration side ?
