I've read about changing the cush drive rubber things..what the heck are these things for? Do they absorb vibrations or what.
Just curious..:confused:

They cushion the shock of torque changes from the drive to the rear wheel. Chain and sprocket life would be reduced without them for one thing.

They Are quite easy to change out I found. Taking off and reinstalling the rear tire was a bit more difficult. Worth it to save the $ to do it myself for sure.
