Should be this one for a wee:

The crankcase breather OEM part number for my k8 wee is 13788-27G10

Yes, they are available for '07-11 models. But parts diagrams do not show them for the older bikes.

Should have been, it's in the top of the crankcase breather and they had a track record of disintegrating (I know the one in my 06 did), so looking for one in an 04-06 could be a waste of time as I'd expect it to be long gone by now.

Makes sense. Mine uses some oil and I'm suspecting this, trying to sell it but no one is buying because it consumes oil. Wonder if the filter for later models fits.

There's very little difference I can see on the fische between the 2006 and 2009 assemblies, with the exception of the foam oil breather filter.

I do notice it's different to the DL1000 airbox though: http://www.mickhone.com.au/partFinder/fiche/suzuki/2006/dl1000/air-cleaner#next
The 2009 DL1000 is almost identical to the earlier model: http://www.mickhone.com.au/partFinder/fiche/suzuki/2009/dl1000/air-cleaner#next

Replaced the filter today with two pieces cut from a lawnmover filter. Old filter was still there, but it was quite crispy.

Well I'll be damned! No more oil consumption or oil smell when engine is hot. Seems to run a bit better, too. Speedo shows higher numbers than factory promises for a new bike 😄

That and a clogged air filter are the main causes of oil burning with the 650's. Cheap and easy fixes as well.
