I have seen a link somewhere to a Colorado company that makes a detailed "gazeteer" type map book of Colorado..

Can anybody give me that name??

"book type" ... you're probably thinking of the Delorme Atlas & Gazatteer. You should be able to find those at any local bookstore or certainly at a decent map or outdoor gear shop.

Thanks hope to get there..

Thanks,

I hope to be heading from North Ideeho on Sat the 14th toward the NW corner of Colorado, the make a big clockwise loop with lots of twists and turns to hit most of the good pass routes.. We plan to stay mostly on pavement.

If you know of any areas with major problems, let me know, thx!

Also, FWIW I have one that I got at a gas station here in CO once - it is smaller and more manageable than the DeLorme one and is spiral bound. I can't recall who makes it right now but it is really handy and I see them at gas stations here in Colorado all the time. When I get home I'll see if I can put my hands on it.

Try Mapsco or Pierson Graphics Corp.
