Hi folks. Should we start to think about a gathering over xmas like we did last year. If so, we should probably start to think about a location so we can get some interior (read mosquito proof) shelter this time.

Any ideas for a destination?

Christmas ride

We probably could come up with reservations now for the St Augustine area. I think that there are 3 choices up there. Anastasia Island State Park,
Favor Dykes state Park and the KOA at St Augustine. Last time we tried to set it up at the last minute and every thing was booked. Curt

I could go for the St. Augustine area if we could get a Kamping Kabin. If we were to go up there for the nights of 12/26 and 12/27, they have a couple of 2 room cabins available. Let me know if those dates are good and I'll make a reservation.

Guys and gals, I made a reservation at the St. Augustine Beach KOA for December 26th and 27th. The reservation is for a 2 room camping cabin by the lake which has room for 2 adults and 4 children. Clem, have you seen the layout of the 2 room cabins before? I would imagine that the 4 children sleeping arrangement refers to two sets of bunk beds.

I know that Curt wanted to go, so he and I can play the adults. Do any of you kiddies want to come?

The two room cabin is nice, and yes one room has 2 bunk set ups. The other room is the "adult" room. Now for you adults: sleeping arrangements equals one double bed, so you'll be sharing a rather small area, relatively speaking of course....

us kids get the bunks:thumbup:

So, bring the wife and the "adults" will sleep in the bunk room and you can have the other room to yourselves. :hurray:

Well looked at the dates, and Patricia will be up North, and I have to work Monday12/27, I may make part of the ride there or may be there a day early.

Not sure yet how I will work it though.:furious:

Clem, we don't have to lock in on those 2 days. Would something else work?

I only have the weekends off, so I am available those days. But don't base it on me. I am willing to work around the consensus. Any days that you say is ok, I will do my best to make it.
