Has anyone tried to install a chain tensioner on their Wee? Seems like it would keep the chain at a constant tension and give better chain life.

I do not think you need a chain tensioner these days .Modern good quality X or O ring chains with a lubeman should be all you need, well lubricated chains do not " stretch" as they do not wear nearly as fast. Chains that are over tight are a bigger problem ,losse is better than tight.Clean your chain, spend the money on a lubeman set it up adjust your chain and RIDE.

This is provided your sprockets are aligned correctly.

I'll send you a Loobman if you pay postage and $5

Not overly fond of my Loobman. Keeps slipping when out on wash board gravel roads, and still have to put it on the centerstand to clean the chain with a grunge brush to get the dust and dirt off anyway. So may as well spray the chain when I am cleaning it.

Looks like a good idea, and worked fine on smooth roads.
