Even though I bought my new wee less than three months ago, the maintenance schedule for 7500 miles says to replace the plugs. Whatzupwidat? Everything's firing smoothly and I'm consistently getting awesome gas mileage.

Please tell me it's OK to wait until spring. Once the snow flies here in the northest, I'll be putting the bike into mothballs until spring anyway, and I like the idea of starting off next season with freshies.

I would not worry about it. I just replaced my plugs at 9000 miles, and they were still in pretty good shape. Replace them with iridium plugs and they will probably outlast the rest of the bike.

The stock plugs are good for 20,000 miles. Wait until the 14,500 mile valve clearance check to put in Iridiums.
