Hi
My bike is dead. I think the battery is flat. before I go and get a new one can I try to jump start the bike with a car?

Thanks

Yes, if your battery is so dead you can't bump start it.

It's recommended you have the car off, so it's battery-to-battery.

thanks

the bike is dead. nothing works. I don't know if it's from the resent heavy rain or maybe I parked it with the parking lights on.
So maybe I will just join NRMA and let them tow to the nearest service.
Cheers

Jump it off the car [car not running, as mentioned].

Or put it on charge for a day or two if you have a charger.

Rain shouldn't cause any problems [I've ridden mine in many serious downpours over the last couple of years].

A non genuine battery from one of the battery places would be an option if it needs replacing.
