Hi Team.
Have searched around the place and can't find a picture or answer so ....
Can I fix TRAX side panniers to standard Givi tubular side pannier racks?
If so what do I need to do it, any pictures would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Does anyone have any experience with these adapters? As I understand it, the TraX mounts are nice and flush with the side of the bike. I'm concerned that the adapter route may result in quite the apparatus hanging off the side of the bike, and in the overall width of the bike with the side cases being considerably wider. Just trying to weigh the trade-off between cost and functionality.

Here's an answer to my own question, courtesy of the phenomenally helpful people at A Vicious Cycle:

"Here is the break down. Yes, you can use adaptors to the Givi racks to attach the TraX luggage. The down sides however are great! First, the adaptors make the luggage wider and the Givi rack is already wider then the SW-Motech side racks. Secondly, the Givi racks are not nearly as well built as the SW-Motech racks are and the adaptors add another potential "weak" point. We've sold the adaptors to the Givi racks in the past and the feedback wasn't outstanding. The positives are that it is less work as you don't need to remove the Givi racks and reinstall the SW-Motech racks, and it does cost less." and "The SW-Motech racks also feature a quick remove 1/4 turn fasteners which means much easier maintenance of the bike as well as you can remove the racks for a cleaner look when you don't have the cases installed. You can tell we're big fans of the SW-Motech racks here and it mostly comes from the fact that the Givi racks just don't cut it for every day use. I had the Givi racks on my DL650 at first and we figures 2 tire changes paid the difference in the rack price in labour savings since the dealer here charges hourly for ride in tire changes."

So my SW-Motech racks are on order!
