Rode it in Sep. while I was on a 17 day 7k mi. trip all over.
It was the most twisted, fun, smooth, tiring road I've ever ridden.
It runs north-south between the entrances to Sequoia National.
I've only met one other biker who'd been on it, but had been in a car.
Said he got carsick in 20 min.
I've got to go back again & do it without a heavily loaded bike for sure.
Our joke is that the hairpins are so tight we could hi-5.

Oh, that's one of the fun ones in the Sierra's. There's more. Try the Calient/Bodfish a bit south. Cows, tight turns and inclines, no guard rails and 45 degree slopes, oh yeah.

That is a great route but be careful at night. I came around a bend around 9pm last September on the North end to 3 little pigs in the middle of the road....actually it was 3 very large pigs and I almost made bacon and sausage.
