What to order EBC HH pads to have on hand when ready when to change, cannot figure out part numbers for either, owners manual lists no info. Anyone change brakes pads yet? Recommendations?

Other models have left and right different. The Vee2 just shows one pad set as it has 4 piston calipers.

Does this look right to you? I thought the pads on the V2 front were more of a U shape. When I search by the part number listed in this thread it shows me lots of different looking pads.

This one looks correct to me, but Kirk says it isn't right

This is the one Kirk says fits the 2014, this looks completely wrong.

EBC HH pads are sintered metal. The GG pads are organic.

Actually the EBC catalog specifies both:

FA419HH for "Long life" and
FA419 for "Sport Carbon" (organic)

For those that like to drag the rear brake organic is a good choice to minimize rotor wear...

I ended up ordering a set from Fortnine even though the picture is wrong, it says "2014 DL1000 guaranteed fit" so they must have some idea what they are selling. It is the same picture that was provided further up in this thread too, from Motorcycle Superstore, which is also wrong (i think).

My EBC brake pads arrived today, but I am concerned about one of them. It has a couple of sizeable chunks on it that I think will gouge out my rotor, what do you think?

These are FA379HH

I wonder if a dealer would flag this as an issue, or would they just install them anyways?

That's not right. Return them or sand them flat if you need them right away and the material looks even otherwise. I'd return them for peace of mind.
