I'm looking to put S/S brake lines on my 06 1000 but I can't find anyone who is putting out a kit for the 06 Galfer only lists to 05 ... I can't see a difference between the years and any dealer up here in the great white north(Canada) can't seem to locate any other kits. Can anyone help me with this . I'm also going to post this in the Canadian section

When I bought mine from them I had them ship the lines to the hotel I was staying at, in their area. Had them shipped a few days early and called the hotel to let them now a package would arrive for me. Only cost me a few bucks for shipping and made it super simple.

Thanks

If only I could do a brake line change in the parking lot of the hotel I usually stay at I could just ride home with them on. I also found a place in Erie PA that is selling DL1000 stock center stands for only $175 I could hit both in one weekend.

I'm in Barrie.

You're allowed to bring stuff back duty free. Dollar allowances depend on how long you are there.

The other option is to have stuff shipped to a US address close to the border and zip down to pick it up.

These guys are just over the bridge at Lewiston and charge something like US$5.00 per package and US$2.00/week of storage.

I went down a few months ago and came back with about $4,000 worth of parts for my buddy's hot-rod project. If you look respectable and act respectful at the border, they're pretty lenient.
