I met a guy a couple days ago, that showed me what loctite did to his upper fairing on his FJR after trying that "fix".....cracked plastic, loctite basically ate it, $300 replacement, be careful.
I do not know what colour bottle he used, but I'd approach with caution, I'd never seen that before, won't soon forget.
Thanks for the replies everyone. I think I'll just not use loctite for this job. The radiator guard mounts by using the two lower fairing bolts which go into the radiator mount. The oil cooler guard is just a replacement for the original, just one screw.
I use a never seize on all the fairing and radiator bolts as I've found that they do seize after a while (electrolysis perhaps). Works for me.
