Better footpegs for my K7

I'm tired of standing up on the factory footpegs, and ready to do something about it - it's like standing on sticks.

Not sure I want bare metal footpegs though, like the KLR ones, as the rubber on the OEM pegs likely helps with vibrations. Or is this not actually a problem?

I know SW Motech makes pretty nice Vee offroad pegs with rubber inserts. for around $150, but is there a more affordable alternative? Are the KLR 650 foot pegs I read a lot about a drop-in replacement, or is some fitting required?

Mine were from a 2012-2017 GL1800 but I think they used that same footpeg for quite some time over more than 1 model.... Scroll up and look at the pic that I posted.. If they look like that.. They are probably the right ones.. If you find a set on ebay and the rubber is badly worn, you can get replacement rubbers from Honda pretty cheap.
