Hi All. I have just had front and rear battlax t32 fitted to my 650xt 2020 and i have to say they feel S*** Ive now done about 200+miles on them. So when riding they feel like them are jelly on a plate.

At first i thought rear wheel was misaligned from fitting checked all fine.

Second I thought brakes sticking my disks are cool and took the brakes off all fine no sticking all clean.

Then i checked the PSI 34front 36rear so fine.

Still the feels like it want to wobble. leaning in to corners is okay its just stight riding has a weird jelly on a plate feel.

Does anyone have any other ideas ?

Battlax Sport Touring T32

"The T32 takes a leap forward in motorcycle tire technology, offering innovative new tread design and rubber compounds. The results provide sport touring riders with the confidence to travel endlessly, rain or shine.
  • Evacuates water more effectively with a new tread pattern featuring Pulse Groove Technology™ and Silica Rich compounds.* Watch our video about Pulse Groove.
  • Increased cornering grip and improved feel from larger adhesion area provided by a 13% larger rear contact patch.*
  • 7% shorter wet stopping distance with no sacrifice in wear life*"
I am guessing that you do not ride off the seal.
A "larger rear contact patch" may not be a good handling modification. An effectively wider rear tyre will alter how the bike handles. You could try 36F/40R to see what happens.

Thanks for a quick response. Honestly I didn't see ** Increased cornering grip and improved feel from larger adhesion area provided by a 13% larger rear contact patch ** on twotyres webpage that might explain something.

So I've just pumped up at work I won't off numbers 35f 39r see how it feels on the way home

So another 200miles done home to work and back. And they still the damn same. They which im now starring to think is the rear causing the issues feel like I'm on a thin bit of wood and I'm tipping from side to side. I now believe this is the tyre pattern that is causing this feeling and issues. It looks as if I'm running on the central part but the tipping feeling the groves and that's what is giving me that feeling.

I'm not a fan of the solid center rib/contact patch. This is obviously indended to be a high mileage tire. It seems to have a pointy profile right now, because of all the rubber they've given you to wear down. This is going to contribute to the pointy profile till you wear some of that down. If you are running 39 psi in the rear, that's too much.

I doubt it's the tread pattern.
What I would do is remove and refit each wheel, just to give me assurance that everything is installed correctly, and make sure each tyres are at the recommended pressures (36/42 I expect) from both the bike manual and the tyre manufacturer - and try both if they differ.
And if it's still feeling wrong change the tyres. I recently had a bad handling issue on a tyre that should have been fine but wasn't, you do occasionally get duff tyres.
