The only thing I don't like about my 2017 650XT is how the front suspension works. It's shit. I knew that when I bought it, as I'd read it about them, and it's true.
Is there any cheap way to sort it out?
I've seen these DDC's or whatever, are they the only way to go? Do I need new springs? I'm a fairly porky 115-120kgs, and I've read that on the 2017+ you just use the standard springs but adjust the spacers. Is this correct?
I'm not keen to spend on this bike, as it's got a fair bit of gear on it and I'm really happy, but the front suspension just doesn't do it justice. Mostly road riding with some gravel roads. 80/20 I'd say.
