My bar end plug fell off today and needs replacing.

Is there some way-cool bar end plug upgrade? I'd like something that would emit thermal lightening bolts into cagers that get too close to me, or maybe something that would provide capucchino on the fly.

There's gotta be something to make getting a new end plug worth the aggravation. Got any suggestions?

I've decided to go for the Kaoko Throttle Lock. Seems like a good product, and it adds some functionality I've been looking for. Pretty pricey though....

I'm a big fan of Manic Salamander bar end weights. Love, love, love them! Their throttle lock is nice, too, and it's also solidly mounted.


Or how about bar end helmet locks?

Spikes?

Or perhaps something in a .32 caliber?

If you change your mind about the throttle lock, I have used the Barender helmet locks and liked them a lot. Last time I checked they didn't have a black powder coat version, but the SST is good anyway.

I have had a Kaoko for years. Nice. As a throttle lock, it is only really useful on relatively flat roads. Works enough for me, though.

I have the Kaoko as well - works great.

Now, my girls have sparkly pink and silver streamers on the bar ends of their bicycles. I think that's maybe more of the direction you should be taking rather than something subltle and functional. Streamers are cool!
