when riding my 2006 1k i noticed recently that my left arm is extended more than my right arm. it seems as if the whole steering assembly is torqued to the right. the bike tracks straight, but it feels like my my body is twisted to the right and my back and shoulder muscles ache after a long ride. visually, the bars also look torqued slightly to the right (bike never dropped) tried a friend's 1k and had the same feeling. am i imagining this, or have some bikes been set up improperly? welcome any thoughts before i call the dealer

The bars are rubber mounted. You might try standing, facing the bike, holding the front wheel between your knees and giving the bars a tweak. It used to work on my 2001 Honda cruiser.

i noticed the same thing, but for me the cause is my torso is torqued ever so slightly to the left and i lean more on my right cheek. combined, it brings my right arm closer to the bars than the left. when i realize it and correct my posture, it's all good.
