I saw a helmet this weekend, an Aria XD has a visor and a face shield. The faceshield pivots up under the edge of the visor. Real neat. I like to ride with some sun protection above my eyes. The helmet is very pricey. Does anyone else make something similar????

Simpson makes one similar, the GS3-MX. I think you have to buy the shield separately though. Seems there was another one or two across the pond but don't remember the brands.

. . . got a KBC "MotoDesign" full-face helmet with my first Vstrom. The helmet's fit is snug but very comfortable on my noggin. Wind noise is minimal in comparison to several others I have tried without buying. Less than $200 over the counter. I'd buy another if needed, but the color of this helmet matches the color of my AeroStitch and First Gear apparel rather than the color of the Strom; a red 2006 instead of the blue 2005
