Anybody interested in a Total Control training day?

At the January motorcycle show in Toronto, I negotiated with the Sharp Riders School for a training day for my club, which I did because several members expressed an interest. Unfortunately, once I set it up, excuses started, and we won't fill the class, so I'm looking for anybody interested in saving a bit of money on a course. The class is the Total Control Intermediate Riding Clinic, the location is Lakefield Ontario on May 28, the price is $325 plus taxes, that's $74 less than their normal price. There's 3 spots left, but the school has said if we don't fill them soon they'll have to cancel us. If you're interested, please PM me and I'll let you know how to get in on it.

I hope you are not Sharp Riders School owner!!! Lol ..why is the school asking you to fill the class? Most schools just wait until the end and then if the course is not filled they just cancel...tell them that there is a guy in Toronto who is willing to train people for free... then they might even lower the fee...
No, not the owner or involved in any way. My wife and I were planning to take the class, and when I mentioned it to the club there were a bunch of members who said they would like to do it too. I used that to negotiate the discount, on the proviso that we filled 6 spaces. Then the club members bailed on me.
I did the ARC 1 & 2 with Lee Parks in the very first class he taught in Canada as part of Sharp Rider about 10 years ago. That was a really good course and transformed how I ride the V-Strom. I've since gone back for a few skills days - usually before I ride south to Deals Gap.

Will there be a cost to you if you let the May 28th IRC cancel?
I ask because if your wife and yourself are relatively experienced riders, then the ARC might be a better course to match your skill level. I have a couple buddies taking the ARC in June.

Good luck either way!

They've offered to let us move to a different date if we can't fill this, but that decision has to be made soon. I figured I'd put this up on the board so that if anyone here (or anyone you know) is interested the opportunity is there. We'll talk to the school again in a few days and re-schedule if I don't find anybody interested. My wife is not very experienced, she just finished her full M in September, and has ridden maybe 5,000km. She's a good rider but lacks confidence. I've got about 7 years and 140,000km under my belt, but this will be the first training I've taken since the beginners course. I plan to do ARC 1 next year.
