I am seriously considering a Wee and am looking to hook up with some riders to see the bikes up close and maybe chat a bit.

I am in Clearwater.

Thanks

Hey Doug,
Welcome!

You are welcome to look at my bike. I will be at Biffs in St Pete on Saturday morning at 7am for a pre ride prep to the Horseshoe beach cafe. Or you can find me and others at Biffs almost every Wednesday/Saturday evening at about 7ish at the north side of the p lot. I have nothing but very good things to say about the 650. Maybe one of the most affordable capable machines out there at this time. I can't think of anything better for the money.

Many reasons to consider the DL-650

It's a fine machine, Doug. Clem is a very serious rider, and knows quality and how to maintain it. My Wee-Strom enables me to ride to very many states and provinces, because it is so easy to handle that an old dude like me can manage 500 miles day after day, even if I sleep in a tent in between those long days.

I have higher gearing than most of the riders, so I get about 56 miles per gallon, and perhaps my engine will last longer than some. Come to think of it, I have not heard of a Wee-Strom engine "wearing out". I have only 47000 miles on my 2006 Wee, and I expect to ride it at least as far as the distance to the moon.

Prepare to be assimilated. The experience is generally painless, and the camaraderie is a terrific bonus. I have ridden with Stromtroopers in Vermont, Ontario, Newfoundland, and the gulf states (all five of them). We are a cordial and helpful bunch, and great company at all times.

Doug I have my 2006 for sale if you would like to check it out. It's an awesome bike with 11K miles and new tires. I live in Tarpon Springs.

Thanks, Tim

Hey Tim,

I appreciate the offer. I am still a few months away from purchasing a Wee, so if I were to come check it out I wouldn't be in a position to buy it.

If that's cool I'd still like to just come and look, I just don't want to give you the impression that I'd be able to buy it.

I plan on riding this weekend and could swing by if it's cool with you.
