As of about an hour ago, I'm a new V-Strom owner.
I purchased an '07 DL650 with about 14K miles.
It's got heated grips, GIVI cases and a shoe for a top-box.
BMW socket for heated gear as well.
I own Girbings, so I'll be buying an adapter, for sure.
I only got to ride it around town before buying it, but it felt good. I'm looking forward to many miles of fun on the bike.

p.s. I forgot to mention that it's got a VSTROM seat and GIVI fairing protectors.
