Would it be possible to build a one piece peg extender, peg mounting bracket for the V2, and have it flex rather than bend when the bike tips over? Perhaps the top mounting bolts have heavy springs on them?

It would be a single piece of steel with an outward bend about halfway down to bring the pegs out from the bike about 1/2 inch, and it would include the peg for the shift lever, plus the foot peg mounts welded on. Powder coat the whole thing. Do the same on right side.

Advantage is it is made from steel, not aluminum, so it won't break, plus the spring mounted bolts on top prevent damage to the frame if bike tips over.

Possible?

If you want the peg to stick out another 1/2" just put a spacer between the frame and the stock mount. You want the peg to break or bend before the frame is damaged.

Thanks for the feedback Rick. It seems like a perfect fit for what you do, but perhaps not since it doesn't require a CNC machine and steel not aluminum.
