looks good
I would drill a few holes in the bottom
otherwise you'll be driving a bathtub

Caliper measures it at 2.9-3.0 mmThose welds look nice.
How thick is the main plate?
Ya, that's what I got.Looks exactly 100% like the Hepco Becker I got, so save your money and buy this one! Here's the Hepco Becker I bought: Hepco & Becker Skid Plate Suzuki V-Strom 1050 XT for OEM Guard (motomachines.com)
If it's like the hepco, only have to undo the two front crash bars, whole skid plate lays down. Need smallish drip tray to fit in there, or some aluminum to redirect into regular tray.Installed this one. Few tip and tricks.
1) drill those holes mentioned earlier.
2) start at bottom and keep bottom bolts loose.
3) attached everything lose (brackets are a PIA)
4) Now pull the complete plate forward, should not be a issue as things are loose. this will create enough gap between exhaust pipe and bracket.
5) Now tight all up and start at bottom.
Looks good and does the job. Pain is when you do Oil change, you have to remove to access Oil filter.
I found on FB marketplace from a seller who sells amazon returns. It was brand new uninstalled and costed me $60 CAD and an hour of pain and suffering as these small brackets are not easy to install unless you buy some longer bolts.
