Anyone have experience with alloy lowering links for the rear suspension? Had installed steel links on my 06 but noticed a good price on aluminum pairs on Ebay which I would like to install on my new one. I noted two different alloys. Would not think street riding would overly stress even the softer alloy.

I'd be fine with T6061-T6 aircraft aluminum alloy or T7075-T6 would even be better. Pure aluminum would not be a good choice.

I have a set of links from Burkhart Cycle, I opted for the 7075-T6 heavy duty variety, and I'm happy with them.

I have a set of Kouba links on my Wee but haven't had a good run with the bike yet. I believe they are 6061 alloy and are considerably beefier than the stock steel links.

The '07 I bought had aluminum links on it and had been ridden a lot by the previous owner. When I removed them to install the stock length links, I saw no wear on the aluminum links.
