Funny to find this post. Just recently I was thinking about similar bicycle bags for the crash bars. Have to tried this? Does it work ok? Any problems with attachment?

I've had these cycle bags on my DL650 crash bars for years. I keep my extra tools, duct tape, spare nuts and bolts, zip ties etc in them. My 12v pump goes under the seat.
The hook'n'loop fastening has never let go no matter how bumpy the road.

That looks like a great idea. Thanks for the photo.
They work well, those Roswheel bags don't fit my 1000 well but the Aldi ones may. They do get a bit tatty after years of use and being hit by a car will do them no favors at all but I'm happy with mine and just got replacements. My wet weather gear lives in those, easy and fast to get to, somewhat unlikely to be stolen.

Also provide considerable water protection for your knees when riding in the rain.
I have 2014 650 OEM crash bars. I’m not sure what would fit but Amazon has plenty to choose from.
In the States, Aldi’s is a grocery store. I assume it is something different in the Land Down Under.
Nominally a grocery store (with most basics but limited variety) and every Wednesday and Saturday they release a rotating batch of specials on a yearly basis. One week sheets and pillows, the next week tools or gardening.
I have some bicycle bags on my V2, not Aldi brand. the ones on my crash bars fit OK but I have triangle ones that fit great on my Givi pannier racks, they Velcro to the racks struts and don't affect the fitting of the bags.

Roswheel triangular frame bags as above in the picture. Available in several colors as well.

Aldi here does groceries mainly, but to get people through the doors they have tables full of 'stuff' running down the center. Quite decent bike gear at decent prices in the past for example.
