Is anyone out there using the Aerostich tank panniers on a Vee2? I have some old panniers, and I'd like to use them on the Vee2 but haven't figured out a satisfactory fitting. If anyone's solved this problem, please share.

One reason for doing this, besides getting some extra cargo capacity up front, is to block the annoying jet stream that comes up around the tank and blasts me in the waist. The panniers solved this problem neatly on my old bike (R1100GS) and were really handy for longer trips.

I have the wolfman tank panniers. Similar. I simply extend the straps over the tank and attach the lower cords /straps to the engine guard. Then install my dual star tank bag on top. It does tarnish the paint a bit but "c'est la vie".
