I just got a new to me V 1000 last Thursday and one of the first things I got was a throttle lock. From reading posts and from a little experimentation with an old Vista Cruz that did not fit I got a NEP Model CC4 but needed to do a little adaption to make it fit. I thought I would post some photos to show anyone who wants to add this what needs to be done before you start.

I attached the NEP with a little dab of JB Weld between the cable housing and the NEP Throttle lock. It works great.
