Well, as soon as it warms up a bit and most of the morning rush hour traffic is gone, I'm heading out to Roswell. In my past life as a computer tech, I'd made several trips there for work but they were always get down and get done so I could return. I figured I'd never actually "visited" the town. Along with recently hearing a presentation on New Mexico's Contributions to Space Travel and the mention of Robert Goddard in the 1930's plus recently seeing the movie "Paul" (filmed in NM) I had to be a tourist. So, I'm taking to the back roads to Roswell. OK, in reality every route to Roswell is via back roads but I'm taking even more of them this time and avoiding Interstate 40. Of course this was all prefaced with seeing a weather report earlier this week indicating Roswell was hitting 78-80 degrees today and tomorrow. I guess I neglected to realize that meant at 5pm or something. Oh well, nothing ventured...nothing gained.
That sounds like a nice ride to some warmer weather Rick 505. I just watched the trailer to PAUL and it looks funny but I bet if you found a little green man on a dark deserted highway in rural New Mexico he would not speaking English. ?se habla espanol?
Last week I purchased a set of Gerbings electric gloves and jacket liner. I should have bought them years ago. Its so nice to feel toasty warm as you ride in 30 degree weather. I got them at the Assessory Pit, nice people there.
