check the direction of rotation of your tires before installing.

not the quick "tread points this way, so it goes this way..." check either...

find the arrow, put it next to the tire, check it again, start mounting, stop about 6 times and check some more, check and check.

DONT check after the tire is installed and you're cleaning up... by that time ignorance is bliss.

PS- shinko 705's front tires run opposite the rear.
same as the michelin pilot GT's i installed backwards on my concours a year ago...

oh well.

It might even be usefull to have a written checklist handy which goes something like:
- check/match wheel and tire rotation.
- spoon first tire bead on wheel
- stop
- check wheel and tire rotation
- align light mark on tire to heavy spot on wheel
- spoon second bead on wheel.
- check wheel and tire rotation.
- etc
