Just settled the deal on mine. 11,000 even out the door +Tax and License at Rockingham Suzuki in NC. Since I live in SC I'll pay that part down here.

Romney Cycle in WV was a little cheaper at $10, 807, but much further away.

Both dealers are no haggle dealers prices with no extra fees. However, Rockingham came down $900 on their "no-haggle price."

The bikes are not expected to arrive in CA until May and then will have to be distributed to dealers from there.

MLS PowerSports in Georgetown, Ky. Bought my 2022 1050 Adventure there 3k under MSRP. Drove 600 miles from southwest Alabama to get it. In and out of dealership in 45 minutes. One of the best buying experiences I've had in 16+ bike purchases.

Rockingham's a really nice shop to deal with. I bought my V-Strom there in 2012, and they do my valve checks on the Super Tenere since they're now also a Yamaha dealer. Their service department is pretty decent to deal with too. Sadly, most of their business is four wheelers, UTVs, etc, so they don't maintain a very big inventory of new bikes. Lots of used ones though, and enough traded in Harleys that they almost look like an HD dealer.

Rick,
FYI - the definition of an OTD price is one that includes vehicle, delivery, taxes, registration etc.
Forgive me. It's like I tell my wife, we have already established I don't know shit and I'm just stumbling through life the best I can.

Sadly, those vehicles are the merch keeping the light bill paid. My local dealer tried selling chain saws a couple years ago, desperate to make margin to pay is employees. Motorcycle buyers and new model motorcycles are both a rare thing today. He is selling Chinese ute vehicles to keep the bell ringing.

Yep, the economic realities of the motorcycle business aren't a mystery to me. I'm just nostalgic for the days when you could go to a motorcycle shop and actually see motorcycles.
When I worked at a dealership in the early 1980s we actually had piston rings and valve guide seals, etc., in stock.

Definitely the good old days. On the rare occasions when I do take the bike to the shop (the aforementioned valve check), I buy all the parts in advance and have them ready for when the job is scheduled, just to speed up the process.

This dealer is just under an hour drive from where I live. They have lots of bikes in stock and are great to deal with. They have lots of new Wee's in stock as well as the 1050's and are taking orders for the new 800 at fair pricing levels. Probably worth the trip for many people.

They show the 800 (base) as 10,999 with no additional fees. I would guess you pay sales tax on top of that. They have a "get an out-the-door" link and will send you the total price if you wish. Worth checking into even if you don't buy there you know what the pricing should/could be so you can negotiate better.

That is the lowest advertised price I have seen, but does it include all fees? Usually, these prices come with shipping and destination, and dealership fees.

I sent them a contact form to find out.

Edit: Just called and there is a what amounts to about 300 in fees on top of the advertised price, plus tax and license, so it is a VERY GOOD price. About $850 lower than the quote I got from Rockingham yesterday.

That would have forced a decision about flying to MN to pick up a bike. It would have been right on the edge of a possibility, but with a $ flight, $ ground transportation, one night in a $ hotel, and meals, not worth the effort for me.

Anyone closer to MN should explore this though.
