I was riding today and shifter fell out. I put it back but could not screw it all the way in. Do you guys know what key I need to tight it up? View attachment 311834

Ha,ha same on my '17, it seems to be "common" on 650 and 1000 vstroms.

and apparently some circlips need to be "properly oriented", since they are rounded on one side due to punch dye

Shifter fell off

Ridding my '18 650xa today in the fifth gear, tried to shift in to 6th gear, but the shifter lever was "missing" :oops: , looked down and the lever was just dangling loose. The axle bolt worked itself out, lucky I had a pair of long needle nose pliers, since the regular open wrench doesn't fit...
