I left at 8am and just got back at midnight. Started out in metro Boston went up to kittery Maine then across to Conway area. Headed north into Vermont via rt 16 then hopped over the border to coaticook Quebec beautiful riding then came back via vt 114 south to 93 south through NH and on to Boston

Did mostly paved road but did go onto dirt roads in Canada and rt16 was dug up in north country so I had fun with that. Overall I am amazed thi was my first al day trip and it wasn't till the last hour my ass was getting sore feel fine now I think it was part psychy. It was the perfect bike to carve up mountains get stuck in rain and ride dirt roads with. The most fun I have had on a bike I would say! Averaged 50mpg half day rain and mid 60's- mid 70's.

I also used the new Arai xd4 which I really liked. It has plenty of vents when needed quiet when vents closed. Comfy all day. No buffetting And real good field of vision. Maybe had one episode of ear pain I think due to position of inter phone but fixed that.

That's the jist take care.

Nice!

I planned a short ride across the city (Calgary) to check something out and I ended up at the base of the mountains in Canmore. Averaged just under 60 US MPG (4.0 L/100 km) for the round trip. About 280 km.

Unfortunately my rear end gets sore after 2 hrs, even with an Airhawk pad. The result of a broken tailbone a few years ago.
