An article about printing structural parts:

Obviously, not your consumer-grade printer. Apparently a laser based powder fusion process, presumably in an inert atmosphere or a vaccuum. Must take a pretty hefty laser to fuse Inconel. To be followed by heat treating, and in some cases, CT scans to verify quality of structural parts.

Going to see some interesting structural designs, no doubt. Not sure what crash repair would look like, though. Even aluminum structural parts require a totally separate repair facility, and in some cases returning the car to the factory.

Or your bike:

Pretty competitive price for a carbon bike. I wonder how long before someone does a bespoke motorcycle frame?

It is like my brothers 3D printer a car would take until the next ice age was over just to get the hood completed :)

Or maybe just pistons:

Might even seem some exotic composite pistons, like ceramic top and alloy body. Reduce heat loss and cooling required to near zero. Next up, combustion chambers.
