So I installed my Kimpex handgrip heaters, which work nicely (still only 40 degrees here this morning). Being the overly-anal renentive that I am, the wonky switch that came with them and looks like it would be at home on a farm tractor is already driving me nuts. I am looking for something to maintain the Hi-off-Lo function, that is a little sleeker, and preferably lit. I have checked the auto supply sites and Radio Shack with no luck. Suggestions?

Any SPDT w/center off switch rated for the required wattage will do the job. A DPDT will work too.

I've had a set of Symtec grip heaters on the bike for a couple of years now and have been using a miniature rocker from Cherry Switch. It can handle 10 amps, works well, and was a clean install. I've listed the link to the switch & part number below.

The part number I used is SRB24A2HBBNN there's a legend at the bottom of the data sheet that will allow you to decode the part number or create your own.

Allied Electronics has pretty fair pricing for low volume orders ( $0.82 each for this switch) and ships quick.
