2020 DL1050XT Handlebar specs

I brought home a 2020 1050XT a month or so ago.....marvelous bike except handlebars feel cramped, my hands gravitate out to ends of bars for comfort. Spent the past two days searching internet for specifications for my stock bars, called my dealer all to no avail. Does anybody have the length, rise and sweep for stock bars?? 7/8 or 1 inch?
Thank you....

PS. 1050XT replaced 2006 DL1000 w/26K miles..excellent bike for sale now. In Arizona CraigsList.

Are they the stock bars on your bike or did the previous owner replace them? Stock are very wide - I'd say the widest I've ever ridden - you must be very tall if the stock feel too small.

I found this:

  • Width: 780mm
  • Height: 100mm
  • Thickness: 25mm
  • Weight: 1.5kg
Thank you for reply....Bike was purchased from dealer with 3 miles...apparently demo bike, vin ends with 00018 so it is an early one. I am 5'10", what I have discovered is when cruising I am most comfortable with hands out to ends of bars. Perhaps it is my dirt bike background...who knows? Can you direct me to where you found specs? What I found (unverified) was: Length 735mm,Sweep 20 degrees and Rise 76mm from kid a dealership.

Who knows indeed. I'm shorter than you, but I found that risers helped. I had a different problem - my arms were sore during long rides, I found the handlebar too low. 22mm risers fixed this for me.

Just raised without any issue
What size are the nuts on the bottom of the oem handlebar clamps??

And were you able to reach them to re/re the clamps for the risers??

Having a tough time reaching them and not certain if Im using the right socket.

Sorry, didn't do it myself - I had it done at the mechanic's at the same time as a service.
