Who knows indeed. I'm shorter than you, but I found that risers helped. I had a different problem - my arms were sore during long rides, I found the handlebar too low. 22mm risers fixed this for me.Thank you for reply....Bike was purchased from dealer with 3 miles...apparently demo bike, vin ends with 00018 so it is an early one. I am 5'10", what I have discovered is when cruising I am most comfortable with hands out to ends of bars. Perhaps it is my dirt bike background...who knows? Can you direct me to where you found specs? What I found (unverified) was: Length 735mm,Sweep 20 degrees and Rise 76mm from kid a dealership.

Sorry, didn't do it myself - I had it done at the mechanic's at the same time as a service.What size are the nuts on the bottom of the oem handlebar clamps??
And were you able to reach them to re/re the clamps for the risers??
Having a tough time reaching them and not certain if Im using the right socket.
