2017 fuel line black oring placement

Hi just putting my fuel tank back on after air cleaner replacement (first time on this bike) when I went to put the fuel line back on it wouldn't push right on there is a black oring unseated in the fuel line.
Anyone had this problem I seem to have a green oring in the fuel line already, does the black oring have a groove for it as well. . Cheers in advance

Made a oring alignment tool (macgiverd ) an old fork no leaks 👍
