Who's going?? Staying where??

I'll be at Swap Meet Vendor Spot H-30.........all Strommers welcome. Firefox (+ Foxy) will be there at my Canopy along with a bunch of ZRXOA Hooligans. We grill dogs for lunch and have a great time.......should have 8-12 bikes at my spot for sale too......plus lots of little stuff. George is sending 100 "Helmet Hooks" down for me to sell for him, at discounted Festival pricing. I'll have Vintage TShirts, Jacket/Helmet Caddys to peddle, bunch of misc parts (sorry, no Strom parts), and wearing apparel. If you have never been to this event, you absolutely have no idea what you are missing out on!!! There are literally 1,000's of bikes lined up along the Track Perimeter access road the entire weekend..........a Vintage Bike Auction (see J Wood and Compamy Auctioneers, Liquidators), skydivers, stunt show, Vinatge Bike Shows all around the complex, and of course Vintage Racing (MX, Road, Trials, Enduro) all weekend long.........AND the Museum (this is only 1 of two times that Old George will have the bottom floor open to the viewing public.....see where bikes are restored, the Dyno shop, etc).

See www.barbermotorsports.com........for details.

Sounds good.

Any info on where to park, places to stay etc.? I've only been to the museum once, and it looks like one way in and one way out.

Any info from a seasoned PRO would be great. :hurray:

I watched "Whats in the Barn" the other night and it was the episode where they had the 100yr old race. Looked really cool.

Thanks,
Ray

The Mecca of Motorcycling awaits you!!!!

Sounds good.

Yes Ray, the Barber Complex only has one 4 lane entrance/exit system........I've heard it can get backed up on a Festival Day by 9AM.....get there earlier if possible. Parking: bikes can park nearly ANYWHERE on the grounds, for cars there are designated grassy areas. The "Tram" system runs continuously around the perimeter of the complex....park anywhere and then ride it to get to the opposite of the race track. The museum will be crowded during the festival, but worth another look (they add bikes during the year....always something new to see). Places to stay: look at motels/hotels near the Hiway 280 area if you want up-scale area (safety) and plenty of resturants/eateries......only 30 minutes to Barber's from there. I would assume the Moody area is probably booked up already.......maybe Trussville??

Any info from a seasoned PRO would be great. :hurray:

Thanks,
