Ok from what I've read this is a hot button topic but I've searched and haven't found any answers other than leave it stock.... What exhaust can I put on a `12 650 Adventure model with factory skid, center stand, and hard bags?

Curious. Are you asking about just the muffler? Or are you looking for a new set of pipes located differently, i.e., a set of scrambler pipes. I have wondered if scrambler-style pipes might be available to help with ground clearance.

Mo I was just thinking muffler although it looks like on the Strom it's not just a slip on muffler it's like a 3/4 system most of what I've seen and that's where the problem with center stand and skid plates come in.

Isn't the catalytic converter in the muffler? What steps would you take if you replace the cat/muffler with just a muffler? I'm assuming you would be eliminating the cat.

A fair question I think there's an 02 sensor in the exhaust but not sure about a converter?
