I've been waiting patiently for someone to document the process for the Thottle Position Sensor Adjustment for the 2011 Wee. I hate the jurky snatchiness of the throttle at low speeds and was hoping that someone would write up these procedures, but I can't find it if this has been provided.

I have found it on the SV650 forum for the older models, but I am worried about using these instructions for the newer model.

Has anyone else corrected the TPS by adjusting it to the correct setting? I'd love to see some images of where the ajustment screw is located so I know that I'm working on the right thing and not just some mounting bolt.

I haven't bought the 25mm Security Torx wrench yet, but I'm ready to fix this issue. Can anyone help?

It's a T25 Torx security bit, not 25mm which is about an inch. See Checking TPS question
For a Wee, it seems to work best for the -c00 to have the dash move up at about 2500rpm, higher than the best point on the Vee. The TPS is on a pivot with one screw to attach and set it. The TPS is the lower #6 sensor with #8 screw.

You will also need to search for "putting strom in dealer moder". It's done by using a jump wire across the ecu terminals. Once in dealer mode your clock will convert to a reading that looks like -COO. The trick is to move the lower tps a crotch hair at a time and watch for the - mark to raise at the specified rpm.

The link GW gave may tell you the dealer mode procedure also.

Thanks to both of you for your assistance and advice. I will find the correct T25 Torx security bit and work on this project. I am optimistic that it will make my already-wonderful Wee even better. Thanx
